Interestingly, this time the actress will not be making a guest appearance and will feature in a proper role apart from dancing to an item number in the movie. Not many know that her track 'Sesamma' has been a chartbuster in south though the movie did not perform well at the Box Office (BO). The film will be directed by Kannada filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh and will feature Bhumika Chawla, V. Ravichandran, Sudeep, Sudha Rani and veteran south sex bomb Shakeela apart from Sunny.
According to Indrajit, who is known for introducing Deepika Padukone into the tinsel town through her maiden Kannada movie Aishwarya (2006), Sunny is the flavour of all seasons in southern movies which made him cast her in the expensive project. "Sunny is a smart actor. Whether it is her acting or dancing, she is the most-talked about and sought-after actors across India. She knows how to remain at the top. She has matured as an actress over the years. She will be acting in a major role in the movie apart from dancing to a peppy number," Indrajit said.
A major portion of Luv U Alia has already been shot and Sunny is expected to share the screen space with top notch actors Bhumika and Sudeep. Sunny may not have contributed to the success of DK, but Indrajit is hoping that this time she will get the credit if Luv U Alia becomes a hit at the BO! The movie is expected to be released across southern India in two months.
